When choosing a headshot photographer it is important to know that they are formally trained in professional photography. Having a deep understanding of lighting, composition, body language techniques, allows our professional photographer Alise to create images that look effortless, yet come from over 20 years experience behind the camera.

At Alise Black Studios, we offer a professional Headshot Sitting, a Private Session with a minimum of 3 different photoshoots and VIP Experiences. You can have natural headshots through to more styled images that make you stand out. Each client's styling for a photoshoot is personalised; natural, styled, fashion, editorial, in studio, on location, streetscape or our lifestyle areas.
We provide a professional Headshot Sitting for busy clients needing only 1 image, through to Private Sessions with hair and makeup styling for an editorial finish, right up to our VIP Experiences, which are an excellent way to get a diverse collection of shots for your branding.
As we provide a range of options and Alise photographs in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, we simply need to know what you are looking for. All our pricing is upfront prior to any appointments being made.

If you are not sure what you need or how to go about preparing for a photoshoot, we provide you with all the details. Each client is given a pre-styling consultation where we discuss hair and makeup, clothing, colours and photoshoot styles. It's often after this consult that clients start to enjoy the process of creating a professional headshot.
On the day, enjoy learning about professional makeup application for photography and the importance of styling. Relax as we direct you through the range of positions and poses. You will never be left to awkwardly pose by yourself. Once you have spoken with us and received all the preparation guidance, we are quietly confident you will be ready to create your updated images.
