Creative Director Alise Black is a highly qualified Professional Photographer with more than 20 years industry experience in photography, styling and graphic design. Having photographed over 13,000 people, Alise will expertly guide you, so you will never be left to awkwardly pose by yourselves.

Our family photography offers a modern and natural approach where we specialise in capturing the unique connection you have with one another, as well as your individual personalities. Our Studios offer a Private Photography Session that includes Professional Studio Shoots and Lifestyle Photography. These Sessions also include styling, hair and makeup artistry and a whole lot of pampering! For families who want more, a VIP Experience will allow more time to create more photoshoot styles, or even go out on location, for a diverse collection of images.
At Alise Black Photographic Studios, we understand how important it is to bring the photographic lighting, styling and makeup together. You may choose to create a range of looks, for example, casual, formal and intimate, to capture a variety of moods.
Not sure what clothes to bring with you or simply want to let us know what hair and makeup styling you like? You will work with Treia, our highly experienced stylist who will provide you with a clothing, hair and makeup styling consultation to help prepare for your photoshoot. We're here to guide you every step of the way.

We respectfully welcome clients of all ethic backgrounds, religions and sexual orientation. Some clients like to be conservative. Others more fun and playful. Some more intimate. Intimacy in photography can be created in a variety of ways, such as the position of a hand or tilt of the head.

At Alise Black Studios, we create memorable experiences for families in a welcoming, relaxing and friendly environment. We always provide transparent pricing prior to every booking.
Photography is a personalised product and generally you won't know what images you will want to order until you see the results. The edited collection is presented for you to view and select on the same day. Contact us to receive our family photoshoot package pricing as we tailor these to suit what you would like to do.

Our premier studio in Brisbane, is a large climate controlled space with client parking. We have multiple studios set up (white, grey & black backdrops + green screen for millions of colours), natural light areas & lifestyle settings. Alise also services Sydney and Melbourne. Read more

We love working to your comfort with hair styling. Some clients have a particular look they love and others like to maximise the opportunity to have a variety of styles created: beach wave, soft curl, volume or straight, or fashion looks. Read more about hair
We use professional High Definition photographic makeup with micronising foundations for a flawless complexion. Individual eyelash application and personalised colours are created to your taste. Read more about makeup
Each client has the option to advise their comfort with retouching. Generally a natural retouch of blemishes and body marks is applied before you see the images. A retouching menu is supplied for more specific requests. Read more about retouching
