Commercial photography is for editorial, magazine, fashion, websites, e-commerce stores, catalogues and public relations. It requires expertise in photography, meticulous attention to detail on the photoshoot day, and professional equipment of the highest standards.
At Alise Black Studios, we generally book a half, full day or several days for a commercial photoshoot. However, if you have a small project and want it to be presented professionally, please reach out. We are always happy to provide you with an obligation free quote.
Commercial photoshoots are a true collaboration of your brand's vision with our photography and styling skills. We use professional high end camera equipment; Phase One Medium Format, Canon 1D and R5 with a mix of pro lenses. Our studio has a private makeup room, full kitchen facilities, large studio and pro lighting equipment. It is a professional and immaculately clean space.
We shoot billboard size imagery as well as magazine and optimised website versions. We can thread in your keywords for SEO. Alise and her 20 years of experience will guarantee that you have the clean, sharp images that focus on your product detailing and editorial theme.

Alise and her team have experience working with a diverse range of leading brands. Quality commercial photography is about creating engaging visuals that ultimately 'sell' your brand. If needed, we offer styling assistance to help you develop your colour palette and creative direction for your unique banding.
When you first reach out, we will discuss the type of setting you need. You may choose to come to our studio, or send your products to us and then dial in remotely to the photoshoot, or we can come to you. Alise has worked in Sydney and Melbourne for many years. Recently, we have created our new studio in Brisbane. Having been in the industry for more than 20 years, when you choose Alise Black Studios, you receive an enormous amount of experience. There is no limit to our creativity and our team is here to help you.
Whilst we split our time between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, we are available anywhere in Australia. Need us to photograph from a plane in the Kimberly - we've done it and happy to do it again! Want to send us your product and then watch the shoot remotely from anywhere in the world - easy! We have the technology to do this for you.

Our styling expertise, colour consult and lots of photoshoot preparation will help you create a quality result for your investment. We offer assistance in creating a 'run sheet' to ensure you maximise the effectiveness of the shoot day and manage your costs.
Alise will always make sure you have her expert assistance to realise your vision. She is on hand to coach talent and models to deliver the desired look and feel. We can even put you in touch with a great self representation platform where you can hire models directly and save on the agency fees. This is popular for start up brands and a safe way to hire models.
Whilst we shoot, you will see the images on screen as it happens. Either by being in the studio or at your own location. We offer a retouching service and will resize the files for their intended purpose so you are ready to go ASAP.
